Lisa A. Owen was admitted to practice in the State of Georgia and in the United States Supreme Court in 1996. Since graduating Cum Laude from Stetson University College of Law, Mrs. Owen has concentrated her practice primarily in the areas of Family Law, Divorce, Adoption, Child Support, and Child Custody matters. Mrs. Owen maintains memberships in the American Bar Association, the Georgia Bar, and Cobb County Bar Association. Mrs. Owen has experience beyond her years from her clerkships. She served as a Federal Judicial Intern to The Honorable Tom B. McCoun in the United States Magistrate Court, Middle District of Florida in 1996. Mrs. Owen served as a Law Clerk in the Superior Court of Cobb County to the Honorable George H. Kreeger from 1996 until 1999 and the Honorable James G. Bodiford from 1999 until 2000.

Lisa A. Owen attended the University College, Oxford, England and obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, and is a Dean’s List graduate from Emory University. Mrs. Owen is active in her community as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, a member of Saint Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church and as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and Cobb Family Resources.
